The Renting Process: Seven Key Stages

1) Start by registering your interest with our team. 

2) Schedule a viewing for the property you're interested in.

3) Complete an application and if successful, make the relevant Holding Deposit Payment.

4) Supply all required information to complete your application and referencing checks. Full disclosure of all relevant details is essential.

5) Once necessary checks have been completed, your move-in date will be arranged and you will then be asked to pay your security deposit. Once your Assured Periodic tenancy has been signed, we will then ask you to pay the balance of your first months rent. 

6) A representative from Giraffe Residential—or your landlord, if they are managing the property directly—will meet you at the property to hand over the keys.

7) If the property is managed by Giraffe Residential, Our property management team will carry out routine inspections—typically every three to four months—to ensure the property remains in good condition and fit for purpose.
